Data Scientist – Market Research
We are a market research firm specializing in customer experience and brand strategy for clients across a range of industries. We have a full-time, entry-level opening for a curious, insights-driven, detail-oriented data scientist to help bring our clients’ customers’ behaviors and brand-performance stories to life.
Demonstrable experience in extracting patterns from large data sets by using statistics, including manipulating independent and dependent variables, and applying segmentation and visualization techniques, is required.
Desired skills include R, Python, or similar tools. Proficiency in Excel is a must.
Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in marketing/market research, data science, or social science is appropriate. Experience with survey data and Tableau are a plus. Client Service Assistants
The Client Service Assistant (CSA) represents Campos as the primary point of contact for our clients, visitors, and research study participants who seek assistance and/or information during their visit to our downtown Pittsburgh market research facilities.
This part-time position requires strength in solving unexpected problems promptly. The CSA will interact with clients from many different industries and participants from varied backgrounds and walks of life. A good-natured personality, therefore, is a must for success as a Campos CSA.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the Campos host to guests conducting and participating in focus groups and interview sessions.
Project professionalism and a pleasant disposition - ALWAYS.
Prepare facility for session execution prior to guest arrival.
Receive guests as they arrive at the facility.
Direct guests to the appropriate areas.
Be readily available to cater to guest needs.
Perform tasks invariably related to internal facility functions.
Act as on-site liaison between guests and Campos staff project managers.
Complete necessary session-related paperwork.
Work closely with Campos staff project managers to provide clear, concise reports during and after client sessions.
Reset facility after session completion.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Some college and/or previous customer service experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Effective problem solving abilities
General availability for a start as early as 3:30 pm and an end of 11:30 pm preferred. Optional Hours: Hours can also be supplemented in our call center on days not scheduled for facility. Hours for the call center are M-Th 4:30 – 9:00 pm; Friday 3:00 – 7:00 pm; Saturday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

We hire paid interns throughout the year to work 8-10 hours per week with our research team, supporting the testing and execution of surveys, keeping up with all the details of managing qualitative interviews, and generating data visualizations.
